Liam Neeson......You sank my Battleship. Seriously?
Ok, Liam Neeson as a badass in 'Taken' i enjoyed. Him playing Zeus in the mediocre 'Clash of the Titans' was it's only high point. I even said 'sure, why not' when he lead the "A-Team" in it's over the top action sequences of a film. But now, the academy award winning actor for "Schlindler's List" is appearing in.......Battleship the movie. Yes, the board game, Battleship. So, he's apparently going the Nicolas Cage route who, after winning the Academy award for Leaving Las Vegas, started taking paychecks for any piece of schlock that comes his way. Maybe to two of them can join forces and star in "Connect Four- the movie.....this time it's personal"
PS the film also stars Rihanna, because of course that makes complete sense.
According to fusedfilm.com
Liam Neeson will join Taylor Kitsch, Rhianna, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and others in the upcoming action flick, Battleship, directed by Peter Berg, based on the popular board game from Hasbro.
The movie revolves around a Naval fleet that must protect the Earth from extraterrestrial invaders.

Robots invade the work place. ROBOT APOCALYPSE CLOSING IN!
(CNN) -- When Trevor Blackwell, CEO of a company called Anybots, wants to know what his employees are up to, he sends a robot to their cubicles.
The 5-foot-6, 35-pound robot contains a video camera, a still camera and a microphone. From a laptop, Blackwell can see everything the robot sees. He hears what the robot hears. And, when he talks, the robot projects his voice.

A cubicle visiting robot. I wouldn't mind so much, as long as he brought me coffee and gave me robot massages. What? That is so the best use of robot technology. Click the link below from cnn.com to see the impending metal uprising continue.

The course is called EME2040: 21st Century Skills in StarCraft, and it will be open to students with at least a “basic knowledge of and experience playing StarCraft". Hit the link below for more on this. Now if you'll excuse me, i have a 'tv watching skills' class to attend.

FOX doing TV adaptation of graphic novel by Stephen King's son Joe Hill
According to Variety.com "Locke and Key" has been given a series commitment by Fox. The Hour-long series is being adapted by scribe Josh Friedman(his credits include "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," as well as "War of the Worlds" and "The Black Dahlia.")
Yeah, I've never heard of Locke and Key either, but here's a brief description from firstshowing.net
The story revolves around a trio of children who become the caretakers of Keyhouse, a mansion in New England that is full of secrets and magic. The kids discover doors that take them to different places, give them powers and even alter gender and skin color. But behind one door is a dangerously violent creature.
If FOX does as good of a job with this as they do with 'Fringe' they'll have an awesome series that unfortunately no one watches. Either that or it it'll be like every interchangable series on The SYFY channel right now.
